Roles and Responsibilities

Objective/Purpose of Job

To ensure and maintain all utilities to ensure uninterrupted supplies to plant like power, water ,air and other input supports

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

Reports toGeneral Manager

Supervises O&M of all utilities like ETP, WTP, Chem Lab, 1 MW Power Plant, Work Shop, DGs, Compressors etc.

Production dept, Quality Assurance dept and Stores

Externally Relates withVendors , suppliers , 3rd party workshops

Budgetary Responsibility

Keep supervision on O&M expenses with zero loss to organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

Boiler & Turbines – Will be responsible for maximizing uptime and availability of steam & power generation equipment, achieving stipulated PLF&efficiency of Boiler & Turbines, aux. consumption, safe start-up & shut-down of high- pressure boilers & Turbine etc.
Water Treatment systems – Ensure availability of generation & treatment of water systems to meet steam generation & process area demands in uninterrupted manner.
Overall responsibility of Utilities (Power distribution – HT & LT), Compressed air, Water extraction & treatment systems, energy management.
Ensure implementation of appropriate maintenance program for P&M i.e. predictive, preventive, repair, &breakdown.
Monitoring & control of direct and indirect work force of the department.
Accountable for HSE aspects of areas under control and compliance to Group HSE standards, regulatory compliance.
Coordinate with other management functions to continually improve operational performance &effectiveness of the plant management system.
Education/Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Requirements

B.Tech / B.E in related stream Mechanical/ Electrical
Good communication and interpersonal skills;
Good Man management skills.
Strong team working skills, with an ability to motivate others and to lead or manage teams and projects;
A high level of attention to detail;
Process & Procedure Implementation Skills.
Computer literacy and IT Skills.
Work experience energy sector/ processing or rice mills projects/operation for more than 15 years Ready to take challenges.
Will work unbound by working hours, should be willing to work in remote location.

FinancialKeep control on replacement, maintenance and consumable costs.

ProcessEnsure set targets are met on production output

PeopleBuilding a cohesive team and put efforts to improve team building. Staff development through trainings.
